Take the time for a fun, adventurous bicycle trip through Baja California. Michael Brown has written a comedic, sexy story about a couple whose financial circumstances put them on this unlikely experience. Not only do they face the hazards of pedaling in a foreign country, but the two are constantly on the run from a group of prison escapees. All of the characters that the bicyclists meet on their way are unique and quite memorable. Enjoy the ride!
A fast and funny excursion into the very entertaining adventures of roommates/lovers Lisa and Bill, as they bicycle up across Baja on a magazine assignment, collecting a scroungy pup and a trio of unsavory villains on their way. Michael Brown continues to surprise his readers with his versatility, wacky imagination and downright clever writing chops. No wonder he's won three Emmys! I'm already looking forward to his next book.
Some months ago I read Michael Brown's fine historical novel, "William and Lucy', so when browsing on I noticed that M. Brown had written another book with a rather odd title, "Love, Sex and Other Near Death Experiences", I couldn't resist. No two books could be more different. Love, etc. is a sexy, comical romp through Baja California featuring an attractive young couple on a bicycle trek. They find adventure and much romance along the way while being chased by a trio of prison escapee's who are in character more like the Three Stooges. The book is a lot of fun and a light hearted adventure comedy. Just the book to lift your mood while relaxing on the beach.
